The Teachers
Lead instructors Denna Robertson, Christine Whitworth, Sierra Camp, Callista Priest & Taryn Lougee are highly qualified and experienced performers as well as teachers. Along with our numerous attentive class assistants, we are dedicated to providing our students with the very best dance training available in a safe environment with modest costuming, dance moves and careful attention to musical lyrics
Philosophy
Dance is one of the very best ways to practice and develop self-confidence.
(Hence the name “ConfiDance Company”.) Class atmosphere is fun and positive.
Children should arrive on time and in proper dancewear. (Preschoolers do best if well rested.) Parents are invited to videotape classes once a month for home practice. Please leave siblings and playmates at home. They are a distraction in the dance room, and pose a risk to their own safety and my property if unsupervised outdoors.
Combination Classes
This is the best starting point for new dancers, and serves as an introduction to a variety of dance styles. Combination classes for beginning dancers age 2-8 meet one a week and include Tap, Ballet, Theater dance & Tumbling. Beginning Jazz, Ballet, Tap & Hip Hop classes are offered for dancers ages 9 and older.
What to wear for class
Any style or color of dancewear, pink ballet shoes & black tap shoes is appropriate for class.
Girls: Leotards, tights, unitards, dance skirts, tutus, bike pants over a leotard.
Boys: Jazz, bike, or sweat pants over a leotard or snug T-shirt (Boys wear black ballet shoes)

Cost
At the beginning of each new dance year, a $30 per family “Concert Fee” is assessed that provides for the theater rent and show expenses for our final Spring concert. This allows us to keep admission to our show free of charge to the public. In addition, a fall semester music CD for home practice will be distributed to each dancer’s family. These fees are due upon registration and are non refundable. (Spring semester will require a purchase of the $10 home practice music CD only.)

Please be considerate of our neighbors in these ways. (Notify others who may be driving of these precautions.)
· Drive slowly & carefully. We live on a dead end street, & the neighborhood children are accustomed to darting out and playing in our quiet road.
· For parking; I encourage you to use our large 3 car drive way and the space in front of my house as well as the vacant lot next door. Be aware when backing out that there may be children behind you.
· Carpool when possible to cut down on the traffic
